JDC Annual Report 2021
In 2021, the number of people forced to flee their homes continued to rise to a new record. The three main factors impacting displacement were the COVID-19 pandemic, conflict and climate change.
But we are making good progress on the quality, quantity and availability of socioeconomic data and evidence on the more than 84 million forcibly displaced, and their host communities and the JDC is at the forefront of these changes. This second Annual Report shines a spotlight on some of the efforts, and on what we have learned.
