The report ‘Condiciones de Vida de la Población Venezolana en el Perú’ (Spanish) provides a statistically representative and up‑to‑date assessment of the living conditions of Venezuelans residing in Peru’s main urban areas.

Led by the Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática (INEI), the survey was implemented between August and November 2024 in cities with the highest concentration of Venezuelan residents, including Lima Metropolitana and Callao, as well as key regional urban centers.

For the first time, Venezuelans in Peru are included in a national household survey covering both displaced and non-displaced populations—enabling direct comparison with the host population. This provides a clearer picture of how people live and work, supporting in-depth analysis to inform policy, planning, and investment.

The findings highlight a predominantly young population with high labor force participation but facing persistent challenges related to informality, lower incomes, limited health insurance, reliance on rental housing, and uneven access to social protection.

This report builds and expands on an earlier report from the same survey, which explored poverty dynamics among Venezuelans residing in Peru.

The microdata is publicly available on the Instituto Nacional de Estadística e Informática website.
