The Results Framework tracks progress against the Joint Data Centre on Forced Displacement (JDC) Strategy 2024–2027, across statistical inclusion, data and analysis, innovation, and the use of data in policy, planning, and responses.
In 2025, progress continued in a challenging environment. The clearest gains were in inclusion, with more countries bringing forcibly displaced populations into national statistical systems rather than relying on parallel approaches. Over the year, 11 national surveys and systems included displaced populations, 8 statistical systems strengthened their capacity, and 13 analytical outputs generated new insights. Data is also being used more actively to inform planning, policy dialogue, and responses.
Some areas, particularly data access and innovation, will take longer to deliver as work moves through multi-year cycles. Financing constraints and capacity pressures continue to shape the pace of progress.
At the midpoint of the strategy, integration into national data systems is gaining ground. The priority now is to sustain this progress and strengthen how data is used, as displacement remains at record levels and increasingly protracted.
